The name David Raymond is deeply personal to us. It was created from the names of the people whose lives, friendship and memories inspired the brand, and from a shared love of something that has always fascinated us — watches.

For us, watches have always represented far more than simply telling the time. They represent moments, memories, milestones and the precious time we have with the people we love. Every second matters, and every watch carries a story.

David Raymond was born from experiences that changed our lives forever.

In 2004, I lost my brother to suicide. It was a loss that left a lasting mark on me and my family — one that can never truly be put into words. It changed the way I looked at life, the people around me, and the importance of remembering that behind every person is a story that we may never fully know.

Alongside this, my best friend from school experienced his own devastating loss, losing his father to cancer. Our families have also experienced the heartbreak of losing loved ones to cancer, and through these experiences we have seen first-hand the profound impact that cancer and suicide can have on individuals, families and friends. These losses are a part of our story.

They taught us that life is precious. That time matters. That the people we love matter. And that even after experiencing unimaginable loss, we can choose to keep moving forward, to create something meaningful, and to make a difference for others.

That is where David Raymond began.

David Raymond is more than a fashion brand. It represents resilience, individuality, strength and purpose.

Every piece we create is designed with the belief that what we wear can say something about who we are — our character, our confidence, our journey and the decision to live life on our own terms.
